Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info: Name and email via Google OAuth when you sign in.
• Resume text: Extracted from your PDF during analysis. Free users' data is processed in real-time and not stored. Paid users' packages are stored so you can access them later.
• Job descriptions: The text or URL you provide for analysis.
• Usage data: Which features you use and basic analytics (page views, plan type).

How we use it

Your resume and job description are sent to Anthropic's API to generate your application package. If you're a paid user, your generated packages are stored in our database so you can revisit them from your dashboard. We use your email for account management and transactional emails only.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't share your data with third parties, except Stripe (for payment processing) and Anthropic (for AI analysis).
• We don't use your resume to train AI models.
• We don't send marketing emails.

Data retention

• Free users: Resume text is processed in memory and not stored permanently. A cookie (hiredtoday_used) tracks your free tier usage.
• Paid users: Your packages and account data are stored until you delete your account.

Cookies

• hiredtoday_used — Tracks whether you've used your free analysis.
• NextAuth session cookies — Keeps you signed in.

We don't use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email us and we'll handle it within 30 days.
